Mistwood - 1

Emily moves through a long, dark hallway that seems to get longer and longer the more that she descends the dark corridor. A frightening, low droning sound emanates and begins to bend lower in pitch slowly in a creepy and menacing manner. An eerie ensemble of ghostly moans resonates through the wretched halls making Emily’s skin crawl and her spine shiver.

TAP! TAP!

A dastardly rapping echoes through the hallway as if to beckon her attention. Emily begins to turn the other direction in an attempt to run away from the wretched sounds and haunting visuals.

TAP! TAP!

The rapping continues as Emily tries to run away, but her legs feel like jello and no matter how hard she tries, she feels like she is running under water.
“Why can’t I run?” she wonders before being startled by a foggy aura that streaks by her at an incredible speed. Emily stops in her tracks and begins to slowly turn around. The haunting sounds of the hallway increase in volume dramatically as her body spins to face the other direction.
A lonely white figure floats several yards in front of her. Emily gasps in terror as the figure begins to take the shape of a human, it’s eyes turning red with anger. Emily is frozen in fear as the figure drifts closer and closer to her. It begins to extend it’s arms as if to reach for Emily in a maniacal manner. The haunting sounds of the hallway come to a climax as the figure approaches exponentially quicker. Emily can do nothing but stand in fear as the ghostly specter rushes toward her.

“AAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!” Emily screams in a high pitched voice.

TAP! TAP! TAP!
